SLAM
NIMA DINI
He knows the fame is worth the practice,
So he devotes himself into becoming a baller,
Every time he's at the rim,
The audience roar like gorillas,
Even when he shoots from distance,
The crowd corrode the silence,
Through dishes, dimes, dribbles, and double-teams,
A buzz would only surround him,
As when he skated through the icy court, past the mountain of defenders,
He was the one sending a message,
A message to trust the process,
As in the days prior, he was even lower than them,
But now his process has been perfected,
So the arena stomped and cheered, emphasizing his point,
The team learned to become him, for a new process of their own to begin
A poem to tribute to the real 2023 NBA MVP, Joel Embiid
